Lisburn Distillery pulled away from the drop zone as they condemned Glentoran to their fifth home league defeat of the season at the Oval.
David Cushley scored with a 20-yard free-kick into the top left hand corner of the net in the 32nd minute.
Gary Liggett latched onto a through ball to finish well in the 57th minute but Martin Murray pulled one back with a half-volley from 12 yards after 62.
Liggett drove into the box and shot under Aaron Hogg's legs in added time.
The visitors bossed the first half, with Neal Gawley shooting over early on, and then his free-kick clipped the bar.
Liggett shot just past the post from 12 yards, but Cushley scored with his free-kick after Liggett had been brought down by Jimmy Callacher.
The Glens could not muster a clearcut chance in the first half but Ciaran Martyn went close at the start of the second, shooting straight at Billy Brennan from Andy Waterworth's cross.
Gary Thompson provided the pass for Liggett's goal, before substitute Murray found the net soon after entering the fray.
Liggett had a claim for a penalty waved away by referee Raymond Crangle, but the striker took advantage of a poor clearance by Sean Ward to score his second and his side's third.
Colin Nixon was unable to get on the end of an Eamonn Murray cross.
Glentoran remain fifth and Distillery ninth.
