Walsall 0-1 Notts County

A first-half strike by Lee Hughes was enough to give Notts County victory at struggling Walsall.
The former West Brom striker scored early on after he turned sharply on a Ben Burgess knock down.
Saddlers keeper Jimmy Walker, who was celebrating recently becoming the club's record appearance holder, was forced off with a hamstring injury.
George Bowerman looked to have levelled but his goal was ruled out for a foul by Manny Smith on Stuart Nelson.
VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM
Notts County manager Martin Allen told BBC Radio Nottingham:
"It's a battling performance, we played very, very well in the first half, kept possession and moved the ball around the pitch.
"We had a couple of good chances, Lee (Hughes) made a great finish to put us one up. We did have a few other chances to go further ahead but they weren't taken.
"And then second half, I must say, it was backs to the wall.
"They did come into the game but we defended our box valiantly - sometimes you have to do that. Ten players, defending the goal, winning headers, winning knock-downs, winning tackles."
