Gateshead 2-3 Newport

Newport County struck twice in the final six minutes to complete a remarkable comeback to beat Gateshead.

The home side's goals came either side of half-time, Liam Hatch grabbing the first from a corner before Jon Shaw fired home from the edge of the area.

Elliott Buchanan's fine finish started the County fightback and Sam Foley equalised in the 90th minute.

Gateshead's Jamie Chandler was then sent off before Jake Harris's superb 94th-minute strike clinched victory.

Edinburgh hails Newport spirit
