Luton Town have signed Newport County striker Craig McAllister on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old joined County from Crawley in the summer and has failed to find the net in 26 games this season.
He is cup-tied for the Hatters' FA Trophy clash against Hinckley on Wednesday night.
"Craig has proven quality in this division and in the division above and that record is hard to ignore," boss Gary Brabin told the club website.
"His goalscoring record at Crawley last season speaks for itself. But it's not just that - his overall game, the little things you see in matches, is something which stands Craig apart.
"He's adaptable in any role we play, he works hard, he's strong and he chips in with his fair share of goals."
The Scot contributed 12 Blue Square Bet Premier goals during Crawley's promotion campaign last season.
But his current drought stretches back 37 league and FA Cup matches, with his last strike coming in the Red Imps' 3-2 win over Barrow on 26 February 2011.
He started his career at Eastleigh and has amassed 241 league appearances and 48 goals for teams including Stevenage, Woking, Grays, Oxford and Exeter.
