Coleraine midfielder Darren McCauley has joined Championship side Institute on loan for the rest of the season.
The 20-year-old is moving due to the time involved in university studies and work commitments.
"A move closer to home will allow him to keep playing and training and we can review the situation again at the end of the season," said boss Oran Kearney.
Fellow midfielder Daibhibd McIvor has signed for Limavady United on loan until the end of the campaign.
McCauley joined the Bannsiders last summer after a spell with Derry City and has made 17 appearances this season.
"Darren has a lot going on in his life outside of football at the minute," Kearney told the club website.
"With everything else he has going on, he feels football isn't his main priority at this time and would prefer to take a step back and take stock of things.
"It is vital that we look after our players' best interests, they are not just footballers but people too.
"I rate Darren very highly as a player and would be loathe to lose him, but I also respect him as a person and have to take his word in this situation.
"At the same time, we feel that as a club, we need everyone to be 100% committed to where we're heading as a team.
"I fully hope we can welcome Darren back to the club in the summer and that he will have a long successful career here."
