Arsenal v Leeds

Thierry Henry is likely to feature for Arsenal after re-signing, but Robin van Persie will be rested and Gervinho is on Africa Cup of Nations duty.

The Gunners are struggling for fit defenders and will also be without the suspended Johan Djourou.

Leeds defender Patrick Kisnorbo has been ruled out for the season with a knee injury, while Tom Lees and Alex Bruce are both rated as doubtful.

United were knocked out by Arsenal last season in a third-round replay.

After taking the lead, the Yorkshire side were denied by a last-minute Cesc Fabregas penalty at Emirates Stadium, and the Gunners ran out 3-1 winners in the replay at Elland Road.

Leeds's hopes of an upset this campaign are hampered by a long injury list which includes the influential Robert Snodgrass and captain Jonathan Howson.

But Arsenal have injury worries of their own, especially at the back, where Thomas Vermaelen, Bacary Sagna, Carl Jenkinson and Andre Santos remain unavailable.

However, the home side will be buoyed by the presence of record goalscorer Henry, and manager Arsene Wenger will also be able to call on striker Marouane Chamakh, after he delayed his departure to join up with the Morocco squad for the forthcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
