Cheltenham Town have extended the loan deal of young Everton defender Luke Garbutt by a further month.

Garbutt, 18, made his debut for the Robins in the 3-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy win over Wycombe on 4 October and has made 11 appearances since.

The former Leeds United man, who has not yet made a first-team appearance for Everton, has helped the club climb to second in the League Two table.

Cheltenham take on Rotherham on Friday looking to continue their good form.

The Toffees have given their permission for Garbutt to feature in the club's FA Cup tie against Tottenham.
