Leicester 1-1 Portsmouth
Leicester's recent struggles continued as they were held to a draw by Portsmouth at King Power Stadium.
Marko Futacs marked his first start for Portsmouth by putting them ahead with a firm finish from a David Norris cross.
The hosts were quick to level when former Pompey striker David Nugent headed in Paul's Gallagher's free-kick.
Greg Halford headed against a post for the visitors and Pompey keeper Stephen Henderson made a late double-save but Leicester are without a win in five.
There was barely a sight of goal in the opening 20 minutes as both sides worked hard to keep it tight at the back.
But any such plans unravelled when Leicester failed to clear a Norris centre and Futacs controlled with his chest before firing past Kasper Schmeichel.
Three minutes later it was Portsmouth who could not deal with a ball from wide and Nugent rose highest to powerfully convert Gallagher's set-piece against his former club.
The visitors almost restored their advantage when Schmeichel misjudged Joel Ward's cross and Halford nodded against the woodwork.
At the other end, Yuki Abi saw a drive well saved by Henderson shortly before half-time.
Chances continued to arrive after the break - Liam Lawrence and Norris went close for Portsmouth while Leicester's Andy King was denied by Henderson.
Halford headed narrowly wide from a corner while Beckford came off the bench to spark life into his side.
But the forward was thwarted by Henderson and then had a spot-kick appeal rejected by referee Colin Webster.
