Northampton Town have extended the loan spell of West Brom striker Saido Berahino until early January.
The 18-year-old, who is eligible for FA Cup matches, will remain at Sixfields until the conclusion of the League Two clash with Shrewsbury on 2 January.
The England Under-20 international has scored once in three starts since joining the Cobblers in October.
"I think Saido is getting better and better," boss Gary Johnson told the club website.
"And I think his partnership with Adebayo Akinfenwa will be a good one and I know West Brom rate him very highly.
"West Brom have given us permission to keep him until at least January and then we will look at it again."
