Paul Tisdale says he is proud of the way his team fought back to get a point in their 4-4 draw at Sheffield United.

The Grecians led 2-1 before twice falling behind to the Blades only to battle back and claim a dramatic point at Bramall Lane.

"I'm very proud to have seen my team compete and perform so well," he told BBC Radio Devon.

"It was a bizarre game and I'm making every effort to enjoy it because it was a brilliant game to be involved with."

And Tisdale was pleased with the way his side's fortunes have turned around, particularly away from home.

City had not scored on their travels this season until their .

"We've scored six away goals this week, that's no mean feat.

"We've had a very good week, seven points out of nine is a great return," he added.
