Ballymena secured their first home league win of the season against Lisburn Distillery despite having Davy Munster sent-off in the 69th minute.

Gary McCutcheon and Jordan Baker had chances for United in the first half but Munster was sent-off for a late challenge on David Cushley.

McCutcheon chested the ball down and hit a low shot from 12 yards past Billy Brennan in the 70th minute.

Gary Liggett had the ball in the net late on but the offside flag was up.

In the first half, McCutcheon's low shot was saved by Billy Brennan and Baker headed over from an Alan Teggart corner.

Baker twice went close again before the break.

Munster was adjudged to have used his arm against Cushley before McCutcheon made the points safe.
