AFC Wimbledon boss Terry Brown will miss forthcoming Dons games to spend time with his ill wife.
Brown was absent from Tuesday night's League Two clash at Torquay United because his spouse Suzy is facing an operation for cancer next week.
Stuart Cash and Simon Bassey have agreed to run the team's affairs while Brown helps his family.
The and have now won seven, lost six and drawn two in the league this season.
Brown has been in charge of the London club for four years and last season led them out of non-league football for the first time in their history.
