Dundee United's Ryan Dow has signed a two-year contract extension, keeping him at Tannadice until May 2014.
The 20-year-old striker made his first team debut against Rangers at the tail end of the 2009-10 season.
And he scored his first United goal in September's Scottish Communities League Cup win at Airdrie United.
"Young, hungry players like Ryan are very much the future of our football club," said manager Peter Houston. "It was important to have secured Ryan."
"Although still young, he has played a part in the first team squad this season.
"If he keeps learning his trade in the manner he already does, he will be a fixture in the first team here at Dundee United for many seasons.
"When he has the ball at his feet, he has the ability to excite the fans and punish opposition teams and he gives us a different option to the other attacking players at the club."
