Second-half goals from Wilfried Zaha and Jermaine Easter secured the points for Crystal Palace against Watford.
The match was finely poised until highly-rated youngster Zaha raced inside Carl Dickinson before hitting a first-time shot past Scott Loach.
Easter made it two in injury time with a fine run and shot for only his second goal of the season.
Things could have been different for the home side, who hit the woodwork through Joe Garner in the first half.
Watford gave a debut to Michael Kightly, signed on loan from Wolves, and he started brightly, forcing Julien Speroni into an early save.
Kightly then set up Garner, whose shot, which had Speroni beaten, came back off the foot of the post.
The defeat, Watford's fifth of the season, leaves them with just one win from the last five matches.
