Braintree Town have signed forward Leon Constantine and midfielder Kevin McLeod on a non-contract basis.
Both players spent much of their pre-season training at the Blue Square Bet Premier club.
Ex-Southend and Port Vale striker Constantine, 33, came off the bench to make his debut in the mid-week victory against Grimsby.
Former Colchester, QPR and Swansea winger McLeod, 30, is currently sidelined with an ankle injury.
He will miss Saturday's home match with Mansfield Town, but could be available to make his debut in next Saturday's trip to Luton Town.
