Enyimba and Al Hilal in Champions League victories
Sudan's Al Hilal stayed in touch with Enyimba at the top of the African Champions League Group A when they defeated visiting Cotonsport of Cameroon 2-1.
The victory means Al Hilal remain in second spot despite having recorded seven points, same as group leaders Enyimba, who defeated Raja Casablanca 2-0 in the earlier fixture in the group on Sunday.
Both Cotonsport and Raja are yet to find a win in the group phase.
They each have a point after three rounds of matches.
Cotonsport took the lead after just 10 minutes through Madila Nfoto.
But Skipper Hytham Mostapha Karar equalised for the hosts in the 28th minute, before Nigerian Otobong Ene Edet netted the match winner nine minutes from time.
Both Al Hilal and Cotonsport will clash again at the end of the month.
In Group B, Morocco's Wydad Casablanca recovered from a two-goal deficit to draw with with Tunisia's Esperance in Tunis.
Esperance took the lead after 22 minutes through Oussama Darragi who fired a low shot into the bottom corner.
Defender Walid Hichri headed home a second goal for the hosts in the 36-minute after eluding several markers.
Wydad's DR Congo striker Fabrice Nguessi scored their first five minutes past the hour mark, firing home a powerful rebound after Esperence goal keeper had parried the ball.
Youssef Kaddioui converted a penalty in the 75th minute to secure a draw that left Esperance's enthusiastic fans bewildered.
The result will come as a boost to Egyptian champions Ahly, who revived their hopes of reaching the Champions League semis after claiming a comfortable 2-0 victory over Algeria's Mouloudia Alger on Friday.
Wydad are on top of Group B with five points, ahead of second-placed Esperance on goal difference.
Ahly have four points while Mouloudia remain at the bottom with a solitary point.
