Queen of the South 1-3 Raith Rovers

Scottish Football League

Raith Rovers fought back from a goal down to beat Queen of the South.

Kevin Smith's penalty on the stroke of half-time gave Queens the lead, the spot-kick awarded after Douglas Hill fouled Ryan McGuffie.

But John Baird's brace turned the match in Raith's favour, his first coming from Iain Williamson's cross and his second a 25-yard lob.

Smith was sent off for violent conduct before Brian Graham chipped home the visitors' third.
