Port Vale made it three victories out of three on their tour of North America after a 1-0 win over USL Premier Development League side Kitsap Pumas.
Defender John McCombe scored the only goal of the game after 24 minutes.
"It was a good workout because they haven't lost all year," new signing Clayton McDonald told the club website.
Vale have already beaten North Sound SeaWolves [3-1] and Tacoma Tide [4-2] and play one more match in Canada before returning to the UK on Saturday.
Micky Adams' side take on Victoria Highlanders on Thursday night and face Halifax and Walsall in friendly matches before opening the League Two season at home to promoted Crawley on 6 August.
