Barrow joint-manager Dave Bayliss has said the club are close to making more decisions over trialists and signings.
Last week, the Bluebirds completed the signings of trialist striker Adam Boyes and .
Bayliss told BBC Cumbria to expect more announcements: "We'll make decisions this week.
"We've got players in mind that we want to bring in, maybe one or two of the trialists will sign."
Following the 2-0 friendly defeat by Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, Bayliss had high praise for new signing Boyes.
"Adam looks a top player," he said.
"It's very difficult to play up front on your own but he created two or three chances for himself as he has done in the past two games. If he keeps playing like that, and we have one or two more additions to the squad, we'll be OK."
He added that the club are currently in the market for a left winger: "We like to get our wide-men on the ball and attack teams. You can only do that with good players.
"We've got Paul Rutherford on one side and we've got a couple of trialists for the other so we need to strengthen on the left-hand side."
