Oxford United cruised to a 2-0 win over part-timers Mass United in the second game of their United States tour.
Goals from Alfie Potter and Deane Smalley sealed the win in the match which was played in New Hampshire.
Smalley, who joined Oxford from Oldham Athletic this summer, limped off near the end of the match but his injury is not though to be serious.
"The result probably should have been 10-0," Oxford manager Chris Wilder told BBC Oxford.
"We have worked on fitness and team shape and that looks good. Finishing we'll do in the final fortnight of pre-season."
Oxford round off their tour with a second match in Exeter's William Ball Stadium against Seacoast United on Monday (kick-off 0000 BST), whose Phantoms side held them to a 1-1 draw on Thursday.
Striker Tom Craddock is set to feature for the first time in pre-season after recovering from injury.
