Swindon Town have completed the signing of Grimsby striker Alan Connell for an unspecified six-figure sum.
The 28-year-old, who joins the League Two club on a two-year deal, scored 25 goals for the Mariners last season.
"I expressed a desire [to leave Grimsby] at the end of last season and had quite a lot of interest during the summer," Connell told BBC Wiltshire.
"No clubs really caught my eye but as soon as Swindon came in, it was a dream move for me."
He added: "Having played against the club a number of times over the years, I know about how big it is and having spent a couple of days here, it's probably even bigger than I realised.
"I'm really looking forward to the season and I hope it will be a succesful one."
Connell started his career at Ipswich and went on to have spells at Bournemouth, Torquay, Hereford and Brentford.
He joined Grimsby in July 2010 and started every Blue Square Bet Premier game last season.
Meanwhile, Swindon are close to securing the signings of Italian defender Alessandro Cibocchi and Algerian striker Mehdi Kerrouche.
Cibocchi, 28, has been on trial with the Robins and has joined the side on their pre-season tour of Italy while Kerrouche, 25, has recently been playing in the United Arab Emirates.
