Darlington sign Morecambe winger Adam Rundle
FA Trophy holders Darlington have signed Morecambe winger Adam Rundle on a one-year deal.
The 26-year-old negotiated a release from his contract at the Globe Arena to sign for Mark Cooper's Quakers.
"Adam has taken a significant cut in wages, that tells me that he was desperate to sign for us and that's the kind of player I want," Cooper said.
"He's hungry, he wants to succeed with us and he's keen to prove a point in the Conference."
Rundle, who was born in South Shields, began his career with with Darlington at their former Feethams home, and appeared 17 times for the club before moving to Carlisle in January 2003.
He has also lists Mansfield, Chesterfield and Rochdale among his former clubs and has made just short of 300 English league appearances, scoring 28 goals.
