Southampton striker Rickie Lambert has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2014.
Lambert was instrumental in helping Saints seal automatic promotion to the Championship last season, scoring 21 goals in 45 league games.
The 29-year-old joined Saints in 2009 after a successful three-year spell at Bristol Rovers, where he claimed 59 goals in 139 starts.
He also won the Johnstone's Paint Trophy in his first year with Saints.
Lambert started his career at Blackpool before moving on to Macclesfield Town, Stockport County and Rochdale.
