Defender Jeffery Imudia has signed a 12-month contract at Blue Square Bet Premier side Forest Green Rovers.

The 21-year-old made three appearances for the club in the 2009/10 season but his time at the New Lawn was cut short by a serious knee injury.

The former Arsenal trainee re-signed on non-contract terms at the end of last season in a bid to improve his fitness.

Rovers have also finalised a two-year deal for former Swindon Town goalkeeper Matt Bulman.

Boss Dave Hockaday said: "Jeffrey injured his cruciate ligaments and suffered cartilage damage, a horrible combination, so it's been a long road back for him..

"He's got to this stage entirely off his own back, which is great credit to him, and it's been great to see him back with the club. He is a terrific player."
