Cheltenham Town midfielder David Bird has signed a new one-year deal at the League Two club.

Bird, 26, has been with the Robins for nine years after signing from local side Cinderford Town at the age of 17.

He made his debut in 2003 and has gone on to make 328 appearances, scoring eight goals.

"A lot of players come and go but I'm proud to say I will be here at Cheltenham Town for a 10th year," Bird told the club website. external-link
