Inverness defender Ross Tokeley has signed a new one-year contract, making him the club's longest-serving player.

The 32-year-old moved to the Highlanders from Huntly in 1996 and has made 427 appearances, netting 29 goals.

"It's taken time to get things right but I always wanted to stay and it would have been hard to move elsewhere," said Tokely.

"Penning the deal is the ideal present to myself before my wedding next week," he told the club website.
