Song's Cameroon comeback has been delayed again

Arsenal midfielder Alex Song has been ruled out of his return to the Cameroon national side because of a knee injury.

Song has not played for his country since last year's World Cup because of clashes within the Cameroon squad.

The 23-year-old was due to make his comeback in Saturday's vital Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at home to Senegal in Yaounde.

West Ham striker Demba Ba will also miss the game for Senegal with groin trouble.

Ba scored a dramatic winner for the Teranga Lions at home to Cameroon in the last round of matches.

Senegal top Group E with three wins from three matches, leading Cameroon and DR Congo by four points.

Amara Traore's side can qualify for the 2012 Nations Cup this weekend should they triumph in Yaounde and DR Congo fail to win in Mauritius on Sunday.
