Shrewsbury have released striker Jake Robinson after two years at the Greenhous Meadow.
The 24-year-old had scored 13 goals during 60 appearances for the League Two side since arriving in 2009.
The former Brighton man said via Twitter that he had only found out from the Shrewsbury Town website that he was not being offered a new contract.
"I was expecting the decision, I was just disappointed with the way it was delivered," said Robinson.
Robinson spent the second half of the season on loan at Torquay and scored twice against his parent club in a 5-0 win for the Gulls.
He was also on the winning side again when his loan side knocked Shrewsbury out of the League Two play-offs before losing to Stevenage in the final.
