Northampton Town have moved to sign defender Byron Webster after his release from Doncaster Rovers.
The 24-year-old, who featured eight times for the Cobblers during a loan spell last season, has agreed a two-year deal at Sixfields.
He played just 14 games for Doncaster after arriving from Czech side FK Siad Most in the summer of 2009.
"I believe we have secured ourselves a very good player," Cobblers boss Gary Johnson told the club website.
"I think the supporters know, having seen Byron play in the last few games of the season, that he is the sort of defender this club has possibly lacked over the last couple of years.
"There is one area in particular that he needs to work on, and I have told him to go and buy a lot of mirrors for his new house when he moves down here.
"If he keeps looking in them often enough he might realise his size and the power and strength that he has.
"He has the physique to dominate both penalty areas and that is what we will be challenging him to do on a consistent basis next season."
