Coalville Town ready for Wembley FA Vase final date

Coalville Town manager Adam Stevens says his side will relish every minute of Sunday's trip to Wembley for the FA Vase final against Whitley Bay.

Stevens told BBC Radio Leicester: "They are honest lads who have the chance to play at Wembley and it's a dream.

"We'll prepare properly but have a laugh. If we do ourselves justice, we have a great chance."

Stevens played for Coalville for ten years and was in the side that were beaten in the FA Cup first round by Wycombe in November 2004.

"I had a bad car accident and had to retire at the end of that season so it was a good way of finishing my playing career," he said.

The Coalville postman added: "It's a massive achievement to get here.

"I'm sure the fans will be here in full force. It's a big day and will be a great occasion."
