Notts County manager Martin Allen says he has verbally agreed deals to sign two new players in the summer.
Allen has only been at Meadow Lane for two weeks and, with two games left, County are not yet safe in League One.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I think I must have spoken to every agent in this country and abroad.
"I'm not going to tell you who they are but I've already got two verbal agreements and once they do verbal with me they don't normally back out."
Notts could be sure of avoiding relegation after this Saturday's trip to MK Dons.
They are five points clear of the bottom four after picking up seven points from their last three matches.
