Port Vale 7-2 Morecambe

Louis Dodds and Justin Richards both hit hat-tricks as Port Vale destroyed woeful Morecambe.
A fine Dodds shot and a Marc Richards lob made it 2-0 but a 20-yard Phil Jevons strike gave the visitors hope.
Justin Richards raced clear to add Vale's third and he grabbed his second with a rising strike before the break.
Poor defending gifted Dodds his second and a curling shot sealed his treble, and despite James Spencer's strike, Justin Richards side-footed a seventh.
But despite the thumping win, Vale must rely on a mathematical miracle to reach the play-offs.
Torquay, Stevenage and Gillingham would all have to lose and Vale would need to make up a goal difference of 17 in the final game.
POST-MATCH REACTION
Port Vale caretaker manager Mark Grew told BBC Radio Stoke:
"I've never won 7-2 and ever been so disappointed in all of my life.
"We could have won by a cricket score if we'd have taken our chances.
"Whatever's happened today, I'm still disappointed that we've not given ourselves a chance to go to Barnet (on the final day of the season) and get in the play-offs."
