Bournemouth 1-2 Tranmere
Adam McGurk's dramatic late strike denied promotion hopefuls Bournemouth a share of the points against Tranmere.
Ian Goodison gave the visitors the lead before the break when he swept in Aaron Creswell's low corner.
Danny Ings looked to have saved a point for the Cherries with a stunning overhead kick in the first minute of added time.
However, Lucas Atkins picked out McGurk in the 94th minute who fired a shot in off the crossbar from inside the area.
Bournemouth manager Lee Bradbury told BBC Radio Solent:
"It wasn't good enough, the first half, it was as simple as that... the second half, on a positive note, was.
"I felt their late goal was a foul.
"We want to keep momentum going forwards and upwards."
Tranmere manager Les Parry told BBC Radio Merseyside:"I was drained well before the end of the game because we had our backs to the wall in the second half, there's no getting away from that.
"Adam McGurk can strike balls, but it was like slow motion as it hit the crossbar, went over the line and then the net bulged.
"Ian Goodison is someone we really miss and attackers don't like playing against him. He loves scoring goals, kissing the badge, he's been with us a long time and you saw how delighted he was."
