Oxfordshire's Deta Hedman has made the final of the World Professional Darts Championship at Lakeside.

Hedman, 52, saw off Lorraine Farlam 2-1 in a tense battle that went down to the final leg, which she clinched with double tops at the third attempt.

The number one seed will play Russia's Anastasia Dobromyslova on Friday at 1700 BST, with the match shown live on the BBC website and on the red button.

"It is every woman's dream to be world champion," she told BBC Radio Oxford.
