Britain's Danielle Khan clinched her second rainbow jersey with victory in the sprint at the Junior Track Cycling World Championships in Glasgow.

Khan lost the first race of her final against Belgium's Nicky Degrendele but fought back in the second.

And the 17-year-old from Solihull powered home on the final corner of the decider to edge out Degrendele.

"I came to the championships in good form but I never expected to win one world title, let alone two," Khan said.

"I made a mistake in my first race against Nicky and I felt a bit gutted, but you can't always have it your way.

"I knew that I really, really wanted the second world title so I put everything into those last two rides."

Khan's victory saw her emulate Becky James, who won two junior world titles in 2009 and went on to win two senior titles in 2013.
