Root your hardly worthy of a place based on your batting at the moment let alone your captaincy.
I’ve always said and maintain it, Root sounds like a little boy, doesn’t inspire any confidence in me whatsoever. Doesn’t have an aura about him which captains should have.
Good evening my fellow moaners. Question for you - What exactly would you like Captain Root, Silverwood or Giles to say?Might I suggest there is more sense in every comment they say then any rubbish you produce on here?Come on England.
Fast bowlers will decide the series in Australia. We have one fast one and if he stays fit and should we possibly unearth a second one then Joe will get his wish.If not .....
@ 116: Clearly, the fella is not a leader, and certainly not a leader of men!
Talk is cheap and it’s going to take a lot more than a load of empty bluster to get anywhere near.5-0 Australia. At least it’ll make Root’s position as captain untenable, and we’ll only have to put up with the world’s most over-rated batsman and his spineless leadership for 2 more years.
@122That's too young an attack to win The Ashes in Australia first time out.I can't see England's batting vastly improving in the mean time either.
Really. He shouldn't have lost them in the first place.
120. Yes we do.ArcherStoneSaqibOverton J.
@120“England does not have the bowlers to win in Australia.”——-They don’t have the batsmen either.Last time we won in Australia, against a poor Aussie team, we had Strauss, Cook, Trott, Bell, Pietersen, Swann, Anderson and Broad in their pompNowhere near these days.
