India: Ajinkya Rahane to captain for inaugural Test against Afghanistan
Batsman Ajinkya Rahane will take charge of India for their inaugural Test match against Afghanistan in the absence of regular captain Virat Kohli.
Kohli is unavailable as he will be playing for Surrey in June to prepare for the Test series against England, which begins on 1 August.
The Test against Afghanistan begins on 14 June in Bangalore.
The 29-year-old will return for India's limited-overs series against Ireland and England from 27 June.
