Michael Klinger: Gloucestershire star could return for semi-final
Gloucestershire limited-overs captain Michael Klinger says he may well return for their One-Day Cup semi-final.
Klinger, 35, is to return home to Australia on Friday for family reasons and to prepare for the domestic season.
He scored a vital 87 as Gloucestershire beat Hampshire to reach the last four of the tournament and has not ruled out returning for the semi-final.
"I've got to speak to the boss, that's my wife, and we'll see what happens," Klinger told BBC Points West.
"It's a bit frustrating, we'll see what happens. I'll go home on Friday and we'll reassess.
"I'll do everything I can to get it done. I definitely need to go home on Friday but we'll see if I can rack up a few more air miles over the coming weeks."
Gloucestershire will play the winner of Thursday's quarter-final between Yorkshire and Essex on either Sunday, 6 September or Monday, 7 September, and Klinger says he is extremely "proud" of his side's achievement.
"To win big games is great for this group, hopefully we'll have two more big games to come," he added.
