|Prince and Petersen - perfect partners|
|Ashwell Prince and Alviro Petersen have enjoyed batting together this season. In July they put on 501 for the third wicket against Glamorgan in the County Championship.|
Fifth-placed Lancashire, who host Glamorgan on Wednesday, could also qualify for the quarter-finals with a win, but are likely to have to rely on net run-rate.
Prince's first century of this season's competition included nine boundaries, while Petersen struck five fours and a six in his 84-ball knock.
Wheater gave Hampshire some hope with his second one-day century but his dismissal saw their hopes fade as the last six wickets fell for 46 runs.
