The North West Warriors earned a narrow three-run win over the Northern Knights in Friday's Twenty20 Inter-Provincial game at Eglinton.
After a 90-minute delay, the game was reduced to 11 overs and the Warriors hit 96-3 with Stuart Thompson top-scoring on 42.
Under the Duckworth-Lewis formula, the Knights were set a winning target of 100 from their 11 overs.
They could only managed 96-4 despite James Shannon's unbeaten 57.
The T20 game between the Warriors and Leinster Lightning, scheduled for 31 May at Eglinton, will now take place on 26 June at the same venue.
The switch of dates is required to facilitate a change to Ireland's preparations ahead of their opening InterContinental Cup game against the UAE at Malahide on 2 June.
