Glamorgan's batsmen battled to a draw to deny Kent their first County Championship win of the season.
Nightwatchman Dean Cosker's career-best 69 led the resistance for Glamorgan, who were chasing 404 runs for victory.
Medium-pacer Calum Haggett took four wickets, but Graham Wagg (51) and Colin Ingram (51) added half centuries to frustrate the hosts.
And the final-wicket pairing of Michael Hogan and David Lloyd (41) saw out the last seven overs with their side 309-9.
The result left Kent bottom of Division Two, five points behind eighth-placed Leicestershire.
Glamorgan's lower-order heroics earned them their fourth successive draw since the start of the season.
Glamorgan captain Jacques Rudolph:
"I thought our guys fought all the way and deserved something out of the game.
"Generally, we've managed to take wickets in the second and third sessions and, although that has kept us competitive, we could maybe work on our plans at how to get into teams quicker.
"As for the batting, the way William Bragg batted in our first innings was particularly pleasing. He's our in-form batsman. He prepares really well and shows a lot of grit.
"I've set him a target of five centuries this summer, so I'm backing his form to continue."
