|Hampshire 360-9 (50 overs) beat Lancashire 212 (37.2 overs) by 148 runs|
Glenn Maxwell hit his highest one-day score as Hampshire hammered Lancashire by 148 runs in the One-Day Cup.
The 25-year-old Australian all-rounder struck 146 off 96 balls, including 22 fours and two sixes, as the visitors posted 360-9 from their 50 overs.
Lancashire, who have now lost their first two group games in the 50-over competition, rarely looked like reaching their mammoth victory target.
Paul Horton (57) top-scored as the hosts were bowled out for 212.
Hampshire recovered in style after being thrashed by Derbyshire on Saturday, with Maxwell - one of the biggest overseas stars brought into county cricket in 2014 - ending a barren run of form that had seen him average less than 12 with the bat in the T20 Blast.
His excellent innings meant Lancashire were faced with the prospect of chasing more than 300 for victory for the second time in two days, having lost their opening group game to Yorkshire on Saturday.
Karl Brown hit a career-best 129 in that game but he could not repeat the feat, caught by Maxwell off the bowling of James Tomlinson for 35.
