|Glamorgan 244 & 250 drew with Essex 280 & 28-2|
|Essex 10pts, Glamorgan 9pts|
Essex and Glamorgan had to be content with a draw after rain ruined the chance of an exciting finish.
Play finally started at 14:50 BST and Glamorgan were indebted to Jim Allenby (79) to push them from 188-8 to 250 all out, assisted by Michael Hogan (24).
It left Essex needing 215 off 24 overs for a second win of the season.
Hogan (2-15) got rid of Mark Pettini for six and New Zealand international Jesse Ryder (10), but rain returned with Essex on 28-2 after six overs.
