South Africa bowler Morne Morkel will miss the rest of the ICC Champions Trophy with a thigh problem and has been replaced by Chris Morris.
Morkel, 28, sustained the injury, which will keep him out for three weeks, in the 26-run defeat to India in South Africa's tournament opener on Thursday.
All-rounder Morris, 26, joins the Proteas squad for Monday's match against Pakistan at Edgbaston.
Bowler Dale Steyn is a doubt for that game due to a side strain.
South Africa will be knocked out of the tournament if they are beaten on Monday.
Morris is uncapped at one-day international level but has played Twenty20 cricket for South Africa.
Morkel's departure is another blow to a South African squad that was already without Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis but team manager Mohammed Moosajee is hopeful Steyn, who missed the India match, will be able to play.
He said: "Brandon Jackson, our physiotherapist, is working hard on him and we are taking it day by day."
