Claude Henderson: Leicestershire bowler to retire
Veteran Leicestershire spin bowler Claude Henderson is to retire at the end of this season.
The 40-year-old South African left-armer has taken a total of 900 first-class wickets during his career and has been at Grace Road since 2004.
During that time he helped the club win three Twenty20 titles.
"There are a lot of good memories. Obviously the Twenty20 success we have had will always stay with me," Henderson told BBC Radio Leicester.
"It is a small club but with wonderful support and I would like to thank all the supporters over the last decade. It has been a wonderful time."
Henderson, who made 314 appearances for Leicestershire in all competitions, plans to return to his homeland in October where he will start work as a television pundit and as a coach.
