It's all about arsenal, the beautiful football, the excellent players....**16 FEB 2011** - TH£ DAY M£$$! WA$ !N K0$C!£LNY$ BACK P0CK£TUsers that will always have a place in my heart:LSTD, Wilshere, N21, Fan, Luka, Andrei, Ludy----Why doesn't anybody on any sight talk to this schmuck?
"like shelling peas" - That made me laugh bud, as usual :))I hope the New Zealanders, who have a couple of pretty good players who are either injured or not getting on with the management ( not sure on details, I only read about England) put out some sort of good team and give us a good fight, unlike what India and Australia have done home and away for some time now. It's been too easy for us.
Hope ya getting back to view the test matches in Kiwi land? i think they start early March. If not log onto here somehow and i will keep you informend on the thrashings thats being handed out. some of the grounds in NW are tiny compared to normal venues..KP be hitting 6s like shelling peas.
Howie, definitely a mouth watering series between Englands 2 recent conquerers. I would put plenty of money on South Africa whitewashing Pakistan, despite Pakistan showing some very good form recently, not least giving India a good hiding away from home in the ODI series. Is it a 3 match test series?
Not only that Maksi (#115), but on Friday Pakistan start a Test series in South Africa in what will be a contest between the last two teams to defeat England. It will be interesting to see how Saeed Ajmal and Umar Gul get on against the likes of Amla and Kallis. Openers Hafeez and Jamshed showed good form in the warm-up game...
All good here knowitall, working hard, eating, a bit of cricket chat and sleeping is all my good lady and I are up to these days, pushing out the hours, raking in the Kroner ready for our holiday with the 3 kids on the 1st of march. Maspalomas Gran Canaria :)Now that we have walloped India home and away we don't need to worry about DRS and their pathetic attitude to it for a while :)
Evening all fine here hope ya living it iup there in Norway? should imagine the DRS will be in full force when we tour Newzealand in Feb. Maybe not for the hoik cricket. But hopefully for the test series in March. It will be used for the ashes thankfully.Imgine if it wasnt and the Indian umpire was doing the games. Be an absolute shambles.Be giving people caught when the ball lands 12 feet short
Good evening knowitall and I hope you are having a fine week mate. When do England play next time and will we being enjoying the benefits of DRS?I love the system. Both teams only get a couple of chances to use it, and it brings high drama.Would love to see Dhoni score more than 0 with DRS in operation :p
Next time England play India, lets have a comprimise? England can use the DRS even if Indian don't want to. fairs fair.
@98. Your stats don't attest to reliability. Someone who scores 40 every innings for 10 innings is reliable. Someone who scores 150 3 times and gets 6 ducks is not reliable. The unreliable one end up with better stats.@86. I have still never heard a single good argument against DRS. Having read your posts, I still haven't.DRS leads to more correct decisions, this makes the game better.
I`d rather watch paint dry
pj faulkner shalnt be impressed if he hears about this neither will jake henessey
Root's made a fantastic start to his international career but let's not blow his performances out of proportion. Sooner or later he's going to have a bad patch and the same people singing his praises now will be calling for him to be dropped. It's also important to remember he's primarily an opening batsman who bowls a bit - not an all rounder. He only bats in the middle order in one day cricket.
Howie, I didn't realise that to be honest. I have enough trouble watching England playing ODI and pyjama cricket and certainly don't take any interest in what anybody else is doing.South Africa have played loads of cricket recently, all over the world and are probably worn out? and I am not sure they care too much about the tip and run games either? even though they have players for all forms
No not really looked back.Slow down the play haha. You mean like Dhoni and Devilliers. The latter being banned for 2 games because of it. Not to mention the indian fans walking infront of the side screen willynilly some1 needs to tell em to stop it.The drs is a good thing.Gets more things correct and thats what everyone wants.Cook was given out like 4 times in correct in the test and odi's combined
England will have been pleased to finish their ODI tour of India with a win.Next up is New Zealand, who were only a tenth-wicket stand of six away from whitewashing South Africa in their ODI series...
knowitall, did you see an earlier poster on here saying that we can not use DRS because the reviews slow down the game of cricket?Laugh? I nearly fell off my sofa, and even the good lady who was at the other side of the room turned round and asked what I was laughing at pmsl
