Odey ORs top CI League group after Sporting Club win

Guernsey side Odey ORs clinched first place in Group B of the Channel Islands Cricket League after a 30-run win over Jersey's Sporting Club Francais.

Island player Tim Duke hit 57 as Odey were bowled out for 163 at Port Soif with Ben Beeley taking 3-23.

In reply, Duke took three of the first four wickets as SCF slumped to 40-4 on their way to being bowled out for 133 as Jamie Brewster top scored with 62.

In Group A Old Victorians finish second after 119 win over Cenkos Emerging.

Batting first, OV's smashed 284-7 as Nathan Watkins hit 123 and Corey Bisson got 78 as they put on 170 for the third wicket.

Opener Toby Belton scored 42, but Guernsey's best young players could only manage 165-8 in reply as Watkins took 3-36 with the ball.
