Herefordshire suffer home defeat by Oxfordshire at Brockhampton

Herefordshire suffered their first Minor Counties Championship defeat of the season, going down by 107 runs to Oxfordshire at Brockhampton.

Having been bowled out for 100, in response to Oxfordshire's 210, the visitors then piled up 287 in their second innings.

That set the home side 398 to win - and they remained in touch at the end of day two on 219-4.

But Herefordshire were bowled out for 290 midway through the last afternoon.

Home captain Chris Boroughs top scored in the second innings with 101.
