St John's have increased their lead in the Standard Bank Premiership to eight points, after an eight-wicket victory over Valkyres.

The Saints dismissed Valkyres for just 58 with Akkie van den Berg taking 5-11 in a devastating spell.

Daniel Dickinson then hit 33 not out to help St John's to victory.

Ramsey maintained second place after a win over Castletown. Eddie Cleator's 57 helped Ramsey to 126, with Castletown's John Short taking 5-15.

The southerners then made a strong start in their reply and were on target for victory at 72-4, before a collapse shattered their hopes, as they lost their last six wickets for 17 runs.

Elsewhere, Crosby claimed a 34-run victory over Cronkbourne.
