|Derbyshire 360 & 438 beat Glamorgan 445 & 167 by 186 runs|
|Derbys 23pts, Glam 8pts|
Tony Palladino's fourth five-wicket haul of his career helped Derbyshire to a 186-run victory over Glamorgan.
The hosts resumed their second innings on 380-8 and Jonathan Clare (29no) saw them to 438 all out, for a lead of 353.
Glamorgan collapsed to 167 all out with Palladino (5-50), Clare (2-35) and Mark Turner (2-39) all contributing.
Gareth Rees (52), Ben Wright (31no) and Graham Wagg (29) the only Glamorgan players to reach double figures.
BBC Wales cricket correspondent Edward Bevan:
"On a pitch which produced over 1,200 runs in three innings, Glamorgan were dismissed for 167 in just 40.4 overs as they went down to their fifth Championship defeat of the season.
"Apart from Gareth Rees's 52 and Ben Wright's 31 not out, it was a pitiful batting display and Glamorgan's hopes of challenging for promotion are quickly receding.
"Apart from today's debacle Glamorgan will look back on two dropped catches in both innings and also their failure to capitalise on dismissing Derbyshire after they were 22-4 in the second innings.
"They now have a two week break from Championship cricket. There must surely be changes in the team and a marked improvement if they are to arrest this decline."
